Solid Structures completed work on the Sandhill Research & Education Building Repairs project for Clemson University, a multi-level renovation focused on restoring functionality, improving interior conditions, and supporting the long-term use of the facility.
The project included repairs and upgrades across the office, conference, restroom, storage, mechanical, electrical, and support spaces. Scope elements included new partitions, gypsum board installation over existing plaster at exterior walls, finish improvements, restroom updates, plumbing coordination, HVAC upgrades, lighting, power, fire alarm, and communications systems work.
The exterior scope included new concrete sidewalks, a mechanical equipment pad, grading, erosion control, and utility coordination. Designed around an existing facility, the project reflects Solid Structures’ ability to manage renovation work that requires careful field verification, coordination across trades, and protection of existing building conditions.
